Baron John Both de Bajna (;;? - 1493) był węgierskim szlachcicem z rodziny Both, który służył, obok Emeric Derencsényi, Ban Chorwacji, Slawonii i Dalmacji w 1493 roku. Jego brat Andrew Both działał również jako zakaz z 1504 roku do 1507. Lord of Sykava w 1492, John został zabity podczas oblężenia Brinje w 1493. [1]
Baron John Both de Bajna (, ; ? – 1493) was a Hungarian nobleman from the Both family, who served as, alongside Emeric Derencsényi, Ban of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia in 1493. His brother, Andrew Both also acted as ban from 1504 to 1507. Lord of Sykava in 1492, John was killed in the siege of Brinje in 1493.[1]

Poślubił Apollonię Csapy, córkę szlachcica Andrzeja Csapy, kapitana zamku Szentgyörgy w hrabstwie Zala między ok. 1441 [2] i 1448. [3] Nazwa rodziny matki Apollonii Csapy jest nieznana, ponieważ na wszystkich wykresach pojawia się tylko jako „Helene” [4]. Helen Csapy, siostra Apollonii, poślubiła George'a Forstera de Szenterzsébet. [5] Ze związku Johna Botha i Apollonii Csapy pochodzi János Both z Bajny († 1521), Vice-Ban Chorwacji, kapitan twierdzy Belgradu (nándorfehérvári vicebáró). Zostaje zabity przez armię Sulejmana Wspaniałego 29 sierpnia 1521 r. [6]
He married Apollonia Csapy, daughter of the nobleman Andrew Csapy, captain of the castle of Szentgyörgy in the Zala County between approx. 1441[2] and 1448.[3] The familyname of Apollonia Csapy's mother is unknown, as in all the charts she appears only as "Helene".[4] Apollonia's sister, Helen Csapy, married George Forster de Szenterzsébet.[5] From John Both and Apollonia Csapy's union comes János Both of Bajna (†1521), Vice-Ban of Croatia, captain of the fortress of Belgrade (nándorfehérvári vicebáró). He is killed by the army of Suleiman the Magnificent August 29, 1521.[6]
