The powerful Rákóczi family ascended from this genus.
The Cseleji, Monoki, Dobi, Körtvélyessy, Hosszúmezei, Lukács, Morvay, Osvald, Posai, Bekecs and Isépy families also originated from the gens Bogátradvány.
